The DNR Urban & Community Forestry Program will be offering at least six million dollars in available grant funding in the 2024 Community Forestry Assistance (CFA) grant cycle. The 2024 Request for Applications document will be posted to the program website and advertised here in the Tree Link Newsletter in September or October of this year.

In the meantime, we are offering a series of webinars on our 2024 grants to help educate eligible applicants on the CFA grant program and help them prepare to apply. Each webinar will include helpful information about our grants and our intentions for the 2024 grant cycle. The webinars will be one hour in length including time for questions at the end of each one. Webinars will be recorded and posted to the UCF program website for later download and viewing.

As a reminder, eligible applicants include cities, towns, counties, tribes, 501c3 non-profits, educational institutions, and special taxing districts such as school districts, parks districts, conservation districts etc.
