PNW Chapter ISA logo_newThe Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society for Arboriculture will hold its 35th Annual Training Conference in Vancouver, Washington, this year, September 28 through October 1. This year’s conference theme is “Our Trees, Our Future”.

This year’s conference program will feature four tracks: Municipal Arborist/Urban Forester, Commercial Arborist/Consultant, Utility Arborist, and—new this year—Climbing Arborist. We anticipate greater focus on the particular needs and skills associated with utility and climbing arboricultural work, as well as outreach to the planning community through the Municipal and Commercial tracks.

We’re looking for great presentations and speakers to help us deliver this ambitious scheme! The conference committee invites you to share your experience, expertise, and professional knowledge by submitting a presentation proposal.

More information about the proposal process and the format for submitting presentation proposals is online. Deadline for submitting proposals is 4:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2014.

Questions may be directed to Micki McNaughton, 2014 PNW-ISA ATC Program Chair, at micki.mcnaughton@pnwisa.org.
